AA&D was established in 1995 and has been serving the transportation needs of the physically challenged in the state of North Carolina ever since. The company is owned and operated by the Washington family.
Their first transportation company, Allstar Limousine & Transportation Co, Inc. began in 1991 offering limousine and varied types of transportation including: cars, vans, luxury buses, luxury sedans and lift equipped vans.
Allstar Limousine was very successful; however it became evident that a tremendous need existed for reliable handicap transportation in the "Triangle" area. The Washingtons concentrated on filling that need with the purchase of additional lift equipped vehicles until finally AA&D Transportation Co., Inc was formed. Due to the phenomenal growth of AA&D, Allstar Limousine was sold. The operations manager, a valued employee of Allstar Limousine, became a part of the AA&D management team.
The company has grown to include a fleet of lift equipped mini-buses and sports utility vehicles (SUV's). In addition to transporting special needs children for Wake County Public Schools, AA&D also transports customers to medical appointments, sporting and social events, work, church, shopping malls and other destinations as needed.
